Academic Learning & SupportLearning Support Unit (LSU) The LSU provide facilities for students to study by themselves both inside and outside of classroom hours. In the LSU, students do additional practice in listening, pronunciation, grammar, reading and writing, or use practice tests to prepare for the IELTS, TOEIC, Cambridge and TOEFL tests. A teacher is always available to help. A large collection of books, CDs, DVDs, practice materials, computers and other audiovisual equipment is provided to help students make the most of their time spent at the Institute of Languages.
The Computer Laboratories The computer laboratories provide self-access and classroom sessions for language development using popular Microsoft application software such as Word and Excel, and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) software. Students have access to the internet and student intranet. Wireless access can be arranged for the UNSW area.
