English for Business Communication courses are suitable for students who would like to improve their spoken and written communication skills in a business or workplace context while also developing wider ranging language skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing .

Course content may include:

  • case studies
  • listenings
  • general writing skills development including grammar
  • vocabulary development
  • telephoning skills
  • theme based topic discussions
  • the language of meetings
  • oral presentation skills
  • interview skills
  • idiomatic and colloquial language
  • roleplays – eg negotiation skills

  • Job Applications
  • Banking and Finance

On successful completion of the full time course students are awarded a Certificate 3 in Spoken and Written English.

The part time course is aimed at students who are currently working but it may also be appropriate for those who are not currently working at this time.
