Social activities

The Institute has a Student Activities Officer who organises a range of social and sporting activities, optional tours and information about current attractive activities for students in Sydney.

You can play tennis, badminton or join our football team. This is a great way to meet each other and start great friendships. The Activities Officer also organises visits to some of the best Sydney attractions such as the Sydney Aquarium at a reduced group price and also organises nights out in the trendiest bars and restaurants! Students can socialise with Australians and other international students, which is a great way to improve your English. You can also ask for information and book your week-end excursions: from wine tasting in the Hunter valley to dolphin watching in Port Stephens. Every weekend can be a discovery! You can find the weekly program on the’ What’s on’ newsletter available on the student intranet in the Learning Support Unit and the student common room.
